Keep Your Team Motivated

As you begin to recruit or sponsor for your direct sales business, you will find that your team will play a big role in your own personal success. Any master recruiter will tell you, in order to have a successful downline or team you will need to keep your teams attention and keep them motivated.  If you are going to be sponsoring people into your direct sales business, you need to make sure you can offer the support your team may need. They key is to motivate your team and not be to pushy or overbearing.

So, how do you keep your team motivated? Here are some tips for keeping your downline excited and motivated!

1. Use a newsletter to keep in touch with your team members. Each month send a newsletter with new product info, top sellers, or even your own personal success. This will keep your team members excited as they see other members of their team doing well and also remind your downline you are there for them.

2. Offer an incentive to the team member who has the highest sales for a month or to the team member who introduces the most people to the business. The incentive could be somthing very simple, yet it is used to give your team a goal to acheive to win. Some sponsors offer a gift certificate, next months new product, or even inexpensive items from your company.

You will find that many team members will work hard to reach the incentive.

3. Keep in contact with your downline! This is very important as a team leader and team builder. Your team needs to know you are available for help if they need it and also enjoy a call to congradulate them on their own personal success. This time will give you some one on one time with each team member to answer any questions they may have and also remind them of any incentive you may be offering.
